Please keep in your prayers our young parishioners who will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday morning, April 12.

And our youngsters who will be receiving their First Holy Communion on Sunday afternoon, April 13.

A few questions…

Do you remember the day of your First Holy Communion? Do you recall the name of the priest who celebrated the Mass that day and who first gave you the Body of Christ? Do you remember to pray for that priest – whether he is living or deceased?

Do you remember your Confirmation day? Who was your sponsor? Who was – who is – your Confirmation patron saint? Do you remember to pray for the Bishop who administered Confirmation to you? Can you recall the ways in which the seven-fold Gifts of the Holy Spirit have led you through life?

The Eucharist and Confirmation – along with Baptism – are the great Easter sacraments. “This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!”
